I believe strongly in educating and encouraging patients to play an active role in their care, as I find this empowers them to take charge of their chronic diseases and their lives."Dr. Holly Smith graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She completed an Internal Medicine residency program at Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Pittsburgh Medical School. Dr. Smith is a board-certified and fellowship trained Rheumatologist. She completed her Rheumatology Fellowship at the University of Teas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas where she served as Chief Fellow.
