Dr. Valentine Ugwu
At VNC RealHealth in Pearsall, Texas, Valentine C. Ugwu, MD, FACOG, MBA, provides expert, compassionate OB/GYN and primary care services to patients of all ages. He provides excellent patient care and outreach services and is an active member of the Pearsall community.
Dr. Ugwu earned his medical degree at Nnamdi Azikiwe University College of Health Science in Nigeria before moving to the United States to continue his training with a residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso, Texas. He also completed rigorous fellowship training in obstetrics and gynecology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. In 2017, Dr. Ugwu graduated magna cum laude with a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas San Antonio, which he uses to serve as a business consultant in health care.  
Dr. Ugwu is a board-certified Family Physician, a member of the Royal college of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (UK), and a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.   
Dr. Ugwu is committed to providing high-quality, patient-focused care ranging from well-woman visits, treatments for strep throat, diabetes, to gynecology and obstetrics services. He is also an expert in pregnancy care, treatments for endometriosis, and birth control services including Nexplanon®.
