Here at Willamette Valley Anesthesiologists, our Board-Certified Physicians and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) provide quality anesthesia services for those patients undergoing procedures such as surgery, labor and delivery, pain management, and diagnostic procedures. The main role of an anesthesiologist to to ensure safety of and prevent pain and distress for a patient during a medical procedure. Our team is involved in patient care from start to finish - starting with a pre-surgical evaluation, and continuing through the procedure and during recovery.

Anesthesiology services may include any combination of the following:

general anesthetics, commonly known as being "put under" or "put to sleep"
sedation, which is the administration of intravenous medication in order to calm a patient or put them into a state in which they're not fully aware
regional anesthesia, which involves injecting a local anesthetic to numb nerves near a procedural site
