Allison Young, MD, FAAP - Pediatrician

Dr. Allison Young grew up in Gainesville, Florida. She completed her undergraduate studies at Harvard University, where she earned her B.A. magna cum laude in Anthropology with a focus on medical anthropology. Before returning to Harvard for medical school, she spent time teaching high school and working for non-profit organizations focused on improving adolescent health. She completed pediatric residency training at Seattle Children’s Hospital and joined Missoula Valley Pediatrics in 2010. During residency she participated in a Global Health Pathway which afforded her the opportunity to work in rural Kenya for 2 months of her training.

Dr. Young offers primary pediatric care for children from birth through adolescence - everything from routine checkups to vaccinations to treatment for specific illnesses. She partners with parents to help support healthy growth and development. And when there's a serious illness or injury, she will team up with specialists and sub-specialists both in Missoula and at Seattle Children's to ensure all children get the advanced care they need.
