High Line Dentistry: Tema Starkman, DDS

With her expertise in innovative dental solutions, Tema Starkman, DDS, helps patients with preventive oral health care, complex dental treatments, and even modern cosmetic dentistry options. Dr. Starkman welcomes patients to High Line Dentistry, located in Chelsea, right in the heart of Lower Manhattan, New York.
After earning her undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Dr. Starkman was accepted into dental school. She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry in New York City.
Dr. Starkman stayed at NYU as a faculty member and taught incoming dental students. Ultimately, Dr. Starkman knew she wanted to go into private practice and founded High Line Dentistry.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Starkman enjoys helping patients who may otherwise struggle with language barriers. She’s known for spending quality time with each patient during visits, addressing overall health concerns that extend beyond oral health.
Because Dr. Starkman is involved in every stage of each patient’s appointment — she even performs cleanings — she gets to know every patient individually. Patients of Dr. Starkman appreciate her willingness to educate them about any dental issues they may face, as well as all possible treatment options.
