Vuyisile Nkomo, M.D.

Vuyisile T. Nkomo, M.D., M.P.H., is a cardiologist and director of the Valvular Heart Disease Clinic at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. His clinical interests include echocardiography, heart valve disease, and ensuring patients understand the many options available in the management of their heart valve disease. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Nkomo is active in education and research, providing mentorship to medical students, residents and fellows. He is an author of publications that have had an impact on the diagnosis and management of valve disease. He is a member of the American Heart Association, The American Society of Echocardiography, the National Medical Association and the American College of Cardiology.
