Ernesto Herfter, MD is a board certified family care physician with a concentration in metabolic disease. This includes cardiovascular risk assessments and prevention. He also specializes in skin biopsies, GYN exams, IUD procedures and is well known for his treatment plans in obesity, hypertension, metabolic syndrome, and diabetes. Dr. Herfter received his medical degree at the Universidad Autonoma de Chihuahua and completed his residency at Stony Brook University.Prior to practicing in Denver, he was a lead physician at a family practice in New Mexico. He strives to provide personalized care for every patient he comes across, while focusing on lifestyle modification and prevention.
