Jamie Thurman PT, DPT, OCS

Dr. Jamie Thurman is the Clinic Director at the Balcones Woods clinic.

Dr. Jamie Thurman is a graduate of the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program at University of California, San Francisco. She received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology at Chico State University in California. She recently completed an Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency through Evidence In Motion and obtained her board certification as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS). Dr. Thurman is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.

While studying, Dr. Thurman worked in various settings, including a pediatric sports medicine center and a U.S. Air Force Base. She enjoys treating all orthopaedic conditions, ranging from post-operative care and acute injuries to chronic pain.

Dr. Thurman was born and raised in San Francisco, California, where her family still resides. In her spare time, Dr. Thurman enjoys wakeboarding on Lake Austin, paddle boarding on Town Lake, and enjoying the live music in Austin.
