Gary Harvey, MD

Gary Harvey, MD, is a certified robotic surgeon who has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology in Missoula, Montana, since 1993. As a compassionate physician who genuinely enjoys his specialty, Dr. Harvey is committed to providing women with excellent care.
Dr. Harvey’s reputation as a skilled urogynecologist and pelvic reconstructive surgeon attracts patients from distant locations. He has extensive experience with the da Vinci® Surgical System, having successfully performed more than 800 robotic surgery procedures.
Though Dr. Harvey may be best known for his abilities in treating urogynecological issues such as incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse, he remains devoted to offering full service Obstetrics care, preventive women’s health services, such as Pap tests and well-woman exams.
Born and raised in Illinois, Dr. Harvey completed his education through medical school in his home state. He graduated from Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois, before earning his medical degree at the Chicago Medical School, now called the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. He went on to complete his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin.
Dr. Harvey is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Married with six children, Dr. Harvey enjoys hunting and outdoor activities with his family.
