Karen Piacente PT, DPT, MTC, CSCS, OCS

Karen Piacente is the Clinic Director of the Texas Physical Therapy Specialists Cedar Valley location.

Karen earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Duke University in 2014. She graduated from the University of Delaware with her Bachelors of Exercise Science and Biology Minor in 2011, where she also competed as a track and field athlete. Karen became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) in 2013 and completed Evidence In Motion’s Manual Therapy Certificate (MTC) program in 2016. Karen also recently achieved her Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist certification through Evidence in Motion (EIM).

Her interests include manual therapy, evidence-based practice and patient-centered care for clients of all ages. She specializes in orthopedic conditions and inspires patients to achieve optimal outcomes.

Karen enjoys an active lifestyle and can be found running, swimming, practicing yoga or biking when she is not in the clinic. She also enjoys exploring the outdoors, catching live music and spending time with family and friends.
