Faraz Berjis MD

Dr. Faraz Berjis has been in private practice since 2001. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from University of California Irvine (UCI). He received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at New York School of Medicine of Queens and his gastroenterology fellowship at Long Island College Hospital. Dr. Berjis is board certified in internal medicine and Gastroenterology. He is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association. His special interests in gastroenterology include inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, hepatobiliary disease, fatty liver disease and colon cancer screening and prevention. Dr. Berjis incorporates functional and complementary medicine in order to provide comprehensive patient care.
