Dr. Canter is board certified in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery as well as Obstetrics & Gynecology. She was one of the first surgeons in the country to be boarded with both specialties. Her focus is on improving the quality of life for women by using minimally invasive techniques to treat vaginal prolapse, including prolapsed bladder, rectum and uterus. She offers conservative options for treatment of urinary and fecal incontinence, as well as options for fecal incontinence surgery and urinary incontinence surgery. She believes in working with each patient to determine what works best for that patient and tailor treatment options accordingly.
