Russell A Shatford, MD

Russell Shatford, M.D., MPH, MSEd, joined Norton Healthcare in November 2010. He brings more than 15 years of experience to Louisville Arm & Hand.
Dr. Shatford is a graduate of Tulane University Medical School in New Orleans. He completed his surgical residency at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, and later completed a hand surgery fellowship with the Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand and Micro Surgery in Louisville. He is board certified in general surgery and maintains a certificate of added qualification in hand surgery.
In addition to offering a full range of arm and hand services, Dr. Shatford has special interests in hand fractures and wrist injuries.
