Whitney D Spear Branstetter, APRN

Whitney is a Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in Endocrinology with Norton Community medical associates Endocrinology.
Whitney was born and raised in Louisville, Ky. She attended undergrad at Galen College of Nursing and received her Bachelor’s degree from Spalding University. She went on to pursue her DNP at the University of Kentucky. She practiced as a Registered Nurse at Norton hospital prior joining the Endocrine office and her background there was in Neuro/spine.
Whitney believes that education is a huge tool for patients to not only understand their health problems but to enable them to be more compliant and to better advocate and care for themselves. Educating the patient about their particular health issue is essential.
Whitney enjoys time with her family especially her nephews and niece. She plays softball and loves outdoor activities. She has two dogs that she adores. She is also a huge University of Louisville fan and enjoys going to all sporting events.
