John Cottingham

Dr. John Cottingham is a graduate of Clear Creek High School. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), Galveston and completed his internship and residency in family practice at Baylor College of Medicine.

He is board certified by the Board of Family Medicine. He also is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging and the American Academy of Family Medicine. Dr. Cottingham has been practicing in the Clear Lake area for over a decade and joined Clear Lake Medical Group in 2014.

His passion for preventive care and wellness leads him to approach medicine in a more natural way. Dr. Cottingham says, ?After all, humans are a species of athletes. When we eat and exercise as we are designed to do, we live happier and healthier lives.?

The Cottingham Family has called Clear Lake home for many years. When Dr. Cottingham is not training for half-marathons, he enjoys strength training, conditioning and surfing. He and his wife are members of St. Mary Catholic Church in League City and especially enjoy travel with friends.
