Richard Marietta

Dr. Richard Marietta joined our team on April 1, 2016. Dr. Marietta has practiced in the Clear Lake area since 1978. He is a past Chief Medical Officer of Clear Lake Regional Medical Center. Dr. Marietta received a Bachelor of Arts from Austin College in Sherman, TX and went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. He completed his residency and internship at Central Texas Medical Foundation where he was also named the Chief Resident of Internal Medicine. Dr. Marietta is a leader in the healthcare community, he was elected by his peers to be the Chief of Medical Staff at three local hospitals (Clear Lake Regional Medical Center, Clear Lake Rehabilitation Hospital and Specialty Hospitals of Houston) and served as Chairman of multiple committees. Dr. Marietta takes time with his patients, he listens and together they create a plan of care. In his free time he enjoys fishing, hunting and spending time with his wife and children
