The firm was founded by Rick Petty, a financial advisor with more than 24 years of experience. Fresh out of college with a bachelor’s degree, Rick entered the world of corporate finance. Although challenging, he didn’t feel that he was making an impact on people’s lives. While pursuing a graduate degree in personal finance, he was introduced to the world of financial planning and discovered his true passion. Since then, he has built a career centered around creating comprehensive financial plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

Today, Rick Petty leads North Star Wealth Strategies with the same mission and passion. We are dedicated to developing lasting relationships by helping clients assess their financial goals and manage their finances. With the support of United Planners, our firm has access to a wide array of investment products, tools, resources, and up-to-date market research.
