Suleman Lalani, MD

Suleman Lalani, MD, PA, is a physician specializing in the care of the aging population at his private practice in Sugar Land, Texas, serving the residents of the Greater Houston area. He is known for his caring nature and generosity and has been recognized by the National Registry of Who’s Who for excellence in geriatric medicine. He completed his fellowship training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, and attended courses at the prestigious Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts and Columbia University in New York City.
An advocate for his patients, Dr. Lalani serves as a board member and national ambassador to the U.S. Congress for the National Alzheimer’s Association.
Before his fellowship training at Baylor College of Medicine, and his coursework at Harvard and Columbia, Dr. Lalani received his medical degree from Jinnah Sindh Medical University in Karachi, Pakistan, and completed his internal medicine residency at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Lalani is triple board certified in internal medicine, geriatric medicine, and hospice and palliative medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also certified by the American Medical Directors Association, a qualification awarded to only the most elite physicians. Dr. Lalani enjoys sharing his skills and knowledge with colleagues and other professionals, and is a member of the speaker bureau for the National Pharmaceutical Company.
Philanthropy and volunteer services are very important to Dr. Lalani, and he currently serves as the chairman of the regional committee for the Aga Khan Foundation, whose goal is to alleviate global poverty.
When he’s not busy taking care of his patients, Dr. Lalani is spending time with his wife and three children. He also enjoys reading, painting, playing racquetball, and traveling.
