De Castro & Basit, MDs, was founded shortly after Jacqueline G. De Castro, MD, graduated from the Hanford Family Medicine Residency Program. Recognizing that there was a clear need for primary care doctors in Kings County, she decided to hang a shingle in Hanford. She is currently the only independent female physician in the area.
