Ricky Williams is a native of Gainesville, Florida. After graduating from high school, he attended Grinnell College in Iowa where he played basketball and majored in Political Science and minored in Black History. After graduating in 1975, Ricky was accepted into the University of Florida where he began to study law. Ricky excelled in legal research and legal writing, receiving high honors. While in law school, Ricky twice made the Deans’ List and received the Book Award in his Federal Practice course.
