I was born In Menomonie, attended many schools in Menomonie, graduated from Menomonie High School and the University of Wisconsin Stout. I had an unusual childhood as my parents, who were Professors at UW-Stout, started an exchange program for teachers from England, and I spent every other year of my life living in London, England. But I always returned to Menomonie WI.
I married my husband after graduating from The UW Stout and together we chose to raise our two daughters, here, in Menomonie. Menomonie and the State of Wisconsin is such a wonderful, beautiful and amazing place to live. I can’t even imagine living anywhere else, nor would I want to. I love to travel, but keep on returning to the Chippewa valley, my home. The People, the Community and the beautiful State of Wisconsin is a wonderful place to live.
A few Years ago, my parents house was struck by lightning and everything was destroyed and lost to the fire. They had thought that they had enough insurance to cover their house and all of their belongings. They were wrong.
