Jason E. Lowenstein, MD

Dr. Jason Lowenstein is an industry-leading expert in scoliosis & spinal deformity surgery. A board-certified, fellowship-trained spine surgeon, Dr. Lowenstein serves as the Director of Scoliosis & Spinal Deformity at Morristown Medical Center. He is also a founding member of The Advanced Spine Center, a multispecialty spine practice that uses cutting-edge technology to deliver minimally invasive solutions to neck & back pain.

Dr. Lowenstein graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and earned his medical degree through the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He performed his surgical residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital and Columbia University Medical Center, before completing his fellowship training at Emory Spine Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

In addition to operating The Advanced Spine Center, Dr. Lowenstein also practices at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ, Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ, and Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ. For his compassionate service and superior surgical skill, Dr. Lowenstein has been awarded the Castle Connolly Top Doctor Award, NJ Monthly Magazine's Top Doctor title, and NJ's Favorite Kids Doc Award by New Jersey Monthly Magazine, among other honors.
