Mackenzi Gatzke, PA-C

Mackenzi was born and raised in Deadwood, SD and graduated from Lead-Deadwood High School in 2011. She received her baccalaureate and master’s degrees from the University of South Dakota. She worked as an EMT in Sturgis and as a nursing support caregiver at Golden Ridge Senior Care in Lead prior to working as a physician assistant. Mackenzi has a special interest in pediatric and adolescent medicine, though she enjoys working with a wide variety of patients. Mackenzi values spending adequate time with each patient, providing quality care and thorough explanations to every patient, and serving and connecting with her community. She now lives with her family in the Black Hills where she enjoys riding horses, hiking, camping, skiing and working cattle on the family ranch with her husband, children and dog.
