Dr. Gleitman graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City with honors. He completed his podiatric surgery residency at Coney Island Hospital. Dr. Gleitman is certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, American Board of Podiatric Medicine, and the American Board of Foot Surgeons. He’s also a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Gleitman also stays up-to-date with the latest podiatric field advances through a continuing education program.
For almost 20 years, Dr. Gleitman has served as the chief of podiatric surgery at Brook Plaza Ambulatory Surgical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He’s also an attending at New York Community Hospital in Brooklyn. Dr. Gleitman is a member of the New York Presbyterian and Gramercy Surgical Center networks in New York City. He’s also an author who’s published in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery. 
In his role as the Brooklyn FootCare director, Dr. Gleitman emphasizes patient communication and collaboration. He believes that working together is the best solution for podiatric problems, so he always strives to educate patients about the specifics of their care to help them make informed decisions.
