The land surrounding the lodge supports a variety of bird species making it the ideal place for waterfowl hunting expeditions and bird watching excursions. Field and water hunts are conducted annually as the vast variety of migrating ducks and geese travel the central flyway. Ample food sources, an abundance of water and safe roosting areas all play host to millions of waterfowl annually.
