The Mariposa

Before The Mariposa’s time, shipyards dominated the Mission Bay landscape connecting the native Mission Dolores pasture-land to the waters of the greater Bay. Following the completion of I-280 in the 1960s, the area east of the thoroughfare formed a unique identity and became increasingly known as “Dogpatch.”

The Mariposa’s tasteful architecture features a modern play on San Francisco vernacular; the Bay Window.
