About Alison Kadans

I've been helping homeowner's purchase and refinance their homes for more than 25 years. It's a career I love. I was named "Rookie of the Year" in 1995 and since then I've been an 8 time member of Leader's Club and a Five Star Professional by 5280 magazine. I'm proud to have originated over 4,000 mortgages for hundreds of customers over the past 25 years.

My goal is to make the experience of getting a mortgage as enjoyable as possible while making sure my clients close on a mortgage that best suits their financial goals. I educate my clients about the mortgage process and I have thorough and detailed conversations about their individual needs and available loan products. I take my HP12C (financial calculator) everywhere—I like numbers and I like helping people make sense of the numbers so they are comfortable with the loan they are getting and there are no surprises at the closing table.

I'm a native of the Detroit suburbs and moved to Colorado in 1987. I spent 2 1/2 years at Michigan State University and transferred to CU-Boulder after seeing a picture of the Flatirons on the cover of the CU catalog. I love living in Boulder and enjoy everything Boulder and the State of Colorado have to offer. My list of interests is similar to many Boulderites: hiking with my two golden retrievers, Cheli and Finnie; mountain and road biking; riding my cruiser bike to work, the Farmer’s Market or out to dinner at one of Boulder’s wonderful farm-to-table restaurants; skiing, snowshoeing, music festivals—the list goes on.
