Alabama Home Care Specialists, LLC is a locally owned and operated business based in Decatur, Alabama. It was created with one idea: we want to assist families and their elderly loved ones in maintaining their independence at reasonable prices, but with quality care. Our area includes the following counties: Madison, Morgan, Lauderdale, Lawrence, and Limestone.

​Alabama Home Care Specialists employs both home care aides and CNAs. We also have an RN and LPN on staff that are available to help monitor your loved one's needs. Each employee is carefully screened using background, sex offender registry, and nurse aide registry checks. Each is required to submit a TB test and is required to have a valid drivers license and verifiable auto insurance.

Alabama Home Care Specialists provides a variety of elder care services, from homemaking services to personal care services, as well as services specifically targeted for seniors with alzheimer's disease or dementia. AHCS provides elder care 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week. AHCS works closely with most Long Term Care insurance companies, such as Genworth, Metlife, TransAmerica, New York Life, and many more.
