Get Some Guns & Ammo

Get Some was founded by Stuart Wallin and two friends in 2003. It began at a "the hole in the wall" storefront on Holden street in Murray. We felt Utah lacked a supplier and knowledgeable store for AR15 and other assault style firearms. In August of 2007 Get Some moved to our new facility in Murray. Stu and his staff are knowledgeable about the AR15 and other assault style weapons and all other forms of firearms and ammo. Utah's Premier Indoor RangeWe spared no expense with our range and went above and beyond what was necessary, to create the finest shooting range in the Western United States. Our range was built by Action Target who builds ranges throughout the world. The TC gen-4 bullet trap can stop a .50 armor piercing round, no problem. Ventilation is tip top and not only meets but exceeds all EPA guidelines for air quality in an indoor range. We spent and additional 100K on sound control for a comfortable and safe experience at Get Some. Concealed CarryThis is a 4 hour class and is required by law for acquiring a concealed firearm permit(CFP) in Utah. There are 3 hours of class instruction followed by one hour of shooting and firearms training. Students must provide both a semi auto and revolver handgun plus 50 rounds for each gun. Basic Handgun Basic Pistol class is a class designed for the beginning shooter. There will be time spent in the classroom going over things like: gun safety, basic maintenance, stance, sight alignment, trigger control, and breathing.The majority of the class will be spent on the range. The instructors will critique and give you ideas for you to use and become a more accurate shooter. Basic Rifle/Shotgun2-3 hour class divided into two 2 hour segments. The first segment takes place in the class room. The second segment will be on the range. Students will be required to bring their own rifle and shotgun plus 40 rounds for rifle and 25 for shotgun. Women's Only ClassThis is a class taught by a woman for women who have had little to no exposure to firearms. It is a 4 hour class divided into two segments. The first segment covers firearm familiarity, safety and exposure to guns in general. This segment will also cover personal protection and home defense. The second segment is hands on training. Students will be required to supply a handgun and 100 rounds. Combat Handgun Combat pistol is a class designed for the CFP holder and the more advanced shooter. In this class we will spend time in the classroom talking about: mindset, tunnel vision, auditory exclusion, heart rate, pre-attack postures, mental preparation, 21 foot rule and survival.
