Michael Goedde, MD is a psychiatrist at the University of Vermont Medical Center and assistant professor at the Larner College of Medicine.

While there is still a lot that we don't understand about the human brain and behavior, it's clear that while each individual has their own unique experiences, strengths and challenges, we all share many of the same basic wishes, motivations and sources of suffering. Dr. Goedde enjoys using this perspective to help patients understand their experiences, foster self-respect and make valued changes in their lives.
