Mara Merritt, DO

Dr. Merritt graduated cum laude from Rice University with a Bachelor of Arts in history.  She earned a medical degree from UNTHSC - Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2003. She completed her residency in family and community medicine in 2006 at the University of New Mexico. Dr. Merritt joined Cascade Medical Family Practice Clinic in 2013. She worked at Family Health Center in Brewster, Wash., for five years and volunteered with Himalayan Health Exchange in India. In 2012, she worked with Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF), first in Chad, then in the Democratic Republic of Congo.  Between MSF assignments, she also worked with two community health centers in the greater Seattle area. Her medical interests include women’s health, holistic medicine, international health, osteopathic medicine and whole family healthcare. Se habla español
