Linama’s roots began back in 1970, when the Rios family began handcrafting western style boots in “The Boot Capital,” Guanajuato, Mexico, a city world-renowned for its handmade artisanal footwear and leather crafts. Many generations of footwear artisans call Guanajuato home, and the Rios family is one of those special families. Combining old world, tried and true techniques, with a keen eye for the latest styles and sourcing quality materials, just calling the Rios family boot makers is an understatement, they are truly artists and masters of their craft.

Our team was completed, when we partnered with a first generation American shoemaker, whose family of shoemakers goes back three generations to Italy.

The challenge was to bring to you, a custom product, handmade with the quality, and attention to detail found in bespoke footwear, at a more affordable price point. No longer should those with a large budget be worthy of such boots. As a result of that challenge, Linama was born.

Bringing together over 160 years of experience in the design and crafting of footwear to oversee every facet of our boot’s construction, along with some good ole’ Texas ingenuity, you see produced an exemplary boot, superior in quality, from a company rich in history and know-how.
