Dr. Ashitey earned both his Bachelor of Science and his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Ghana in Accra, Ghana. He then completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry in New York City, one of the oldest dental schools in the country. He also completed externships at both the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia and England’s University of Sheffield, School of Clinical Dentistry. 
During his externships, Dr. Ashitey was involved in volunteer outreach programs. Today, he continues to share his knowledge with both his team and his patients, educating his staff on the latest in dental innovations and counseling his patients so they can make the right choices for their smile goals. 
Dr. Ashitey blends his extensive expertise in dentistry with artistic and creative talents. Together, these skills enable him to offer the treatments and procedures necessary to create the best, most beautiful smile for each individual patient. He’s an innovator who strives to not only transform his patients’ teeth — but also to transform cosmetic dentistry. He stays on the leading edge of dental technology and procedures so he can offer his patients the best treatments and the best training and education to his staff. 
Specifically, some of the treatments and procedures Dr. Ashitey offers include root canals, crowns, dentures, teeth whitening procedures, emergency dental care, and Invisalign®. He prioritizes restoring natural teeth to their former beauty while using additional tools like replacement teeth when necessary. 
His goal is to give patients their dream smile, and he takes the time to figure out what that dream smile looks like for each individual patient. Every patient can expect a longer first appointment with Dr. Ashitey to discuss their smile goals, their oral health, and any questions they may have. From there, he customizes a dental plan with them.
