Dr. Mackenzie Sward is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who treats cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, eyelid disorders, and glaucoma. In her undergraduate years, she worked as a medical missionary in Tanzania, Africa, helping to restore sight to underserved communities. Later, she attended the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, where she earned her medical degree in ophthalmology. Along with being a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Wisconsin Academy of Ophthalmology, she and her husband also enjoy hiking, camping, rock climbing, and spending time with their two young daughters.
