Her first investment property was a duplex in Detroit, Michigan. In 1994 she moved to Salt Lake City and got her real estate license in 2001 and a brokers license in 2007 and became a branch broker in 2018.

During her time as a member of the Salt Lake board of Realtors, she has volunteered on multiple committees including education, charity, grievance and professional standards. Since 2016 she has been on the Board of Directors and being a liaison to the membership.
