Cottage Robotic Surgery Center

In 2017, the Cottage Robotic Surgery Center performed over 300 robotic surgery procedures. The robotic surgical team at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital has worked together for 13 years, which brings a superior level of teamwork and skill to our program. Since 2005, our robotic surgery team has performed over 2,000 surgeries at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. The Cottage Health Robotic Surgery Center is equipped with the state-of the-art da Vinci® Xi Surgical System. The Xi System’s immersive 3D-HD vision system provides surgeons a highly magnified view, virtually extending their eyes and hands into the patient.
