He is the only physical therapist in the Rockford area to offer services specifically designed to keep elderly or disabled patients independent at home and help them avoid nursing homes.
Dr. Samaniego constantly focuses on his continued education for hands-on therapies to quickly alleviate pain and improve patient mobility. He has logged over 100 hours of specialized training for orthopedic rehabilitation and musculoskeletal issues. In addition to these hands-on therapies, he offers innovative therapies, including high-intensity laser therapy, shockwave treatments, and dry needling acupuncture treatments, to promote long-term good health.
Dr. Samaniego received his bachelor’s degree in physical therapy at Fatima University in Manila, Philippines, and went on to pursue his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Utica College in Utica, New York. Since then, Dr. Samaniego has opened multiple physical therapy facilities throughout the Philippines, as well as ActiveLife Spine & Joint Clinic in Rockford.
When not assisting his patients, Dr. Samaniego likes to relax with music. He also enjoys writing movie scripts and tapping into his creative side in his spare time.
