Donald Jones, MD, FACOG, is a conscientious and caring board-certified physician specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Jones serves women through all stages of life at Ozark OB/GYN in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Dr. Jones was born and raised in Poplar Bluff and considers it an honor and privilege to serve the women of the beloved local community. Other than residing in Mississippi for 12 years to complete educational training, Dr. Jones has been a lifetime resident of the Poplar Bluff community. His parents were both local school teachers and his grandparents were small business owners in Poplar Bluff.
Dr. Jones was a scholar and athlete at Poplar Bluff High School. He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree with top honors at Ole Miss. After his graduation from the University of Mississippi medical school, Dr. Jones completed an internship and residency at the University Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. He returned to Poplar Bluff to open his own private medical practice.
Dr. Jones is the owner and president of Ozark OB/GYN. He has more than 20 years of extensive experience sharing in the lives of his patients while providing the highest quality of individualized medical care. Dr. Jones conducts all medical services in a courteous, respectful, and empathetic manner.
Dr. Jones stays informed of the latest advancements in women’s health care and utilizes proven techniques and state-of-the-art technology, including the innovative da Vinci® robotic-assisted surgical system.
Dr. Jones personally performs all procedures and sees each patient at every visit. He offers flexible appointments for those with busy schedules and works hard to avoid long waits.
