David Kowalski, MD

David Kowalski, MD, is with Springfield Clinic’s Internal Medicine and Pediatric Departments seeing patients at Springfield Clinic Effingham and Springfield Clinic Stewardson. He joined Springfield Clinic in 2016.Dr. Kowalski earned his medical degree and completed his internal medicine and pediatrics residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield.“As a child, I was in and out of doctors’ offices throughout my life, and those experiences inspired me to become an internal medicine and pediatrics physician,” says Dr. Kowalski.Being board certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics, Dr. Kowalski sees patients of all ages from newborn to seniors.“I get to enjoy spending time learning about my patients through my visits with them,” says Dr. Kowalski. “I want to get to know my patients to be able to tailor their medical care into what they want and what their expectations are. I work for the patients and here to help them achieve their goals and understand their treatment plan.”In his free time, Dr. Kowalski enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, wood working, spending time in his yard.
