Angelique S. Rettig, MD

For nearly 20 years, Angelique Rettig, MD, has practiced obstetrics and gynecology in Springfield, first with Springfield Obstetric & Gynecologic Associates, then with Springfield Clinic following the affiliation of their two groups in 2011. After all these years, the highlight of her practice is bringing new life into the world. "I can't imagine myself practicing any other form of medicine," said Dr. Rettig. "I have this incredible personal bond with my patients that I wouldn't trade for the world." Dr. Rettig, a native of Russellville, Ky., earned her medical degree from University of Kentucky College of Medicine then traveled to Springfield and SIU School of Medicine to complete her residency in OB/GYN. She practices obstetrics with special interest in high-risk pregnancies and gynecology with focus on adolescent care and gynecologic surgery.
