Piero Capecci, MD

A board-certified surgeon in Orthopedics, Dr. Capecci thrives on having the opportunity each day to change the lives of patients who come to him with disabling arthritic pain. Although Dr. Capecci provides individuals with a full range of orthopedic treatment options, he specializes in reconstruction of the hip and knee. Dr. Capecci enjoys the challenge of trying to identify the unique problems of each patient that present to him. He specializes in outpatient total hip arthroplasty and precision gap balancing total knee arthroplasty, but also has an avid interest in non-operative alternatives in the treatment of arthritic joints.Dr. Capecci is an established member of Alpha Omega Alpha, an honor society that recognizes physicians who demonstrate excellence in scholarship and the highest ideals in the profession of medicine. He is also a member of American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the Mid-America Orthopedic Society.
