Jeanene Smith, MD

After earning her medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tenn., Jeanene Smith, M.D., completed her Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Internship and Residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Smith is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, Texas Medical Association, Harris County Medical Association, American College of Physicians, American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association. In her spare time, Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with her husband and children. She also enjoys mentoring youth, watching NFL football and theatre.​Fun FactsDr. Smith is passionate about the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program. The one technological device she can’t live without is her iPhone. Her guilty pleasure is reality tv and her favorite cartoon character is Michaelangelo from the Ninja Turtles.​
