Anush Pillai, MD

After earning his medical degree from The University of North Texas Health Sciences Center in Fort Worth in 2001, Anush Pillai, D.O., completed his internship, residency and later was elected chief resident at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Since 2004, Dr. Pillai has practiced full spectrum Family Medicine along with being faculty and training future physicians at the Texas Medical Center. He joined Kelsey-Seybold in 2014 Dr. Pillai is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Academy of Family Physicians and the American Board of Family Medicine Residency Directors. In his spare time, Dr. Pillai enjoys billiards, basketball, martial arts and weightlifting. Dr. Pillai's favorite types of food are Indian or Thai cuisine. His favorite actors are Robert DeNiro, Kevin Spacey and Anthony Hopkins. He says the best advice he's ever received is “The secret to improving or succeeding is blood, sweat and tears.”
