Timothy P. Collins, DO

Dr. Collins is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary diseases and critical care medicine. He is the division chief of pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine at Vassar Brothers Medical Center where he is also the ICU Medical Director. His areas of expertise include cystic fibrosis, difficult to treat asthma, pulmonary vascular disease and lung cancer. Dr. Collins prides himself in communication and coordination of care to provide the best personalized outcome possible. His philosophy is that respiratory patients are best cared for in a continuum from the office to the hospital/rehabilitation setting. He grew up in upstate New York and enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, playing sports and traveling.
