Family – they’re always there to offer advice.

“You should do this,” some say. “You should do that,” others say. “You should join Globe Life Liberty National Division Life Insurance, it’s a great opportunity for you,” others – namely, the family of Ricky Beard – say.

As Agency Owner of Globe Life Liberty National Division’s Corinth, Mississippi, location, it goes without saying that Ricky took the advice of his family, three members of which formerly contracted with Globe Life Liberty National Division themselves.

Prior to his career with Globe Life Liberty National Division, Ricky was a production manager for a local furniture manufacturer. A nice job, but as Ricky puts it, “one in which I had no control over my future, no control over my hours, and no control over my earning potential.” So he seized the opportunity, said ‘good riddance’ to his manufacturing job, and next thing he knew, joined Globe Life Liberty National Division, where he found his income doubled.

On top of his increased income, Ricky found the flexibility in his work schedule that he had been craving, along with some newfound confidence: “I knew that with Globe Life Liberty National Division, if I applied myself, I would never have to look for another job again.”

Applying himself would prove to be a nonissue for Ricky – in his time with Globe Life Liberty National Division, he’s seen no shortage of accomplishments come his way, quickly cementing his spot as a Torch Club Qualifier, Council of Champion member, Top 10 qualifier, and LUTCF Fellow. An extensive list, to be sure, but Ricky says those accomplishments don’t hold up to what he perceives to be his greatest accomplishment with Globe Life Liberty National Division: “helping other individuals become successful in their own sales career.”

As Agency Owner, Ricky – along with the whole Corinth team – has been an active participant in Relay For Life, as well as an avid supporter of United Way Mississippi. Separate from the office, Ricky and his family actively support their local church, missions in Guyana and Uganda, and the Lads to Leaders program, which encourages training young children to become future leaders.

Needless to say, Ricky is passionate about helping people, in and out of work. “What we do here,” Ricky says of his role at Globe Life Liberty National Division, “is ensure families know that an unexpected illness, accident, or death doesn’t have to mean financial devastation.”

Oh, and one more way Ricky goes about helping those around him – providing careers. “Don’t be afraid of commission sales,” Ricky is quick to say. “If you have a great work ethic and desire to help people, you can become very successful with Globe Life Liberty National Division.”
