Big Mountain Barbell in Midvale, Utah began in 2014 as a small warehouse gym with four coaches, a few squat racks, some cheap barbells, and a hand-me-down treadmill with a vision to create a positive, effective training environment for individuals of all ages, backgrounds and skill levels. As months passed by, BMB gained more qualified and experienced coaches, increased members and athletes and more upgraded and elite equipment. By 2017, the growth had surpassed initial expectations of owners, Zac and Lynndsey. They knew it was time to grow! In June of that year, Big Mountain Barbell relocated to a larger 2-story 11,000 square feet facility, providing high-quality equipment, convenient 24-7 key access, and full locker-rooms equipped with showers and saunas, to accommodate the growth and provide the best private local gym around!
