Step Right Podiatry: Tad Borland, DPM, MS

Given his extensive background in all types of podiatry care, including foot and ankle surgery, Tad Borland, DPM, MS, is known for his expertise in diagnosing and treating the most complex of conditions. As the founder of Step Right Podiatry in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, Dr. Borland welcomes new patients to the practice.
Dr. Borland began his education at West Virginia University in Morgantown, completing his undergraduate studies before obtaining a Master of Exercise Physiology degree through the California University of Pennsylvania. He went on to earn his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree — with honors — from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio.
Dr. Borland then went through extensive surgical training at the Cleveland Clinic and Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ohio. A native of Western Pennsylvania, Dr. Borland is proud to now be able to serve the community in which he was raised.
While Dr. Borland has special interests in sports injuries and diabetic foot care, he’s devoted to helping patients with all types of ailments find the best solutions. Some of the most common conditions he treats include plantar fasciitis, bunions, hammertoes, and bone fractures.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Borland enjoys staying active in all of the activities Pennsylvania has to offer in the great outdoors. He spends time in the mountains hiking, kayaking, and biking.
