Family Home Medical Equipment has been in business since 1993. Located in Peru Illinois we are owned by Illinois Valley Community Hospital (IVCH). We have a staff of 9 employees that are dedicated to provide outstanding customer service. We believe that every customer has a choice of where they will shop for home medical equipment and supplies and we want them to choose us.

Billing to insurances has become extremely challenging and complicated.It requires cooperation between doctors, patients and insurance providers to meet the requirements needed to assist with the reimbursement of your home medical equipment. Our insurance billing team knows and understands insurance billing requirements (including Medicare and Medicaid) and will bill claims and answer your questions. Not all equipment is covered by insurance but the staff at Family Home Medical Equipment is experienced and knowledgeable and can let you know if an item is covered by insurance.
