Beauty is the cornerstone of Wild Poppy Florist — and of Paula’s and Charla’s careers. Charla began her floral career at the age of 16 with her mother in San Luis Obispo where they used the deep blue ocean, rolling hills, and vineyards as backdrops for their design. She’s been active in the floral design business ever since, both in Central Oregon and in Teton Valley, Idaho. Charla’s floral designs were featured in the 2003 Martha Stewart Weddings magazine and she designed the floral arrangements for President George W. Bush during his stay in Crosswater in 2003.
