Stuart Anderson, MD

Stuart Anderson, M.D., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon emphasizing care in all areas of general orthopedics. His specialties include joint replacement, sports medicine and orthopedic trauma/fracture care, providing care for patients ranging from pediatrics to senior citizens. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa., Dr. Anderson went on to complete his medical degree at Sidney Kimmel Medical College (formally Thomas Jefferson Medical College) in Philadelphia. He completed his general surgery internship at Pennsylvania Hospital and orthopedic residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, both in Philadelphia. He also completed a trauma fellowship at the Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh, Scotland. Dr. Anderson is board certified by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons; member of the Orthopedic Trauma Association and the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh, Scotland). He has presented papers at many international meetings and is a published author in both orthopedic journals and textbooks.
